Adds to Award List

Portland-based Rose City Mortgage Specialists' list of awards just grew by two. The company recently was ranked as one of 100 best Oregon employers. In addition, Rose City was designated as one of 10 most dependable mortgage brokers in the Western U.S.
The Southwest Portland mortgage firm adds these honors to several they received in the last three years. Most recently, the Oregon and Southwest Washington Better Business Bureau named Rose City Mortgage Specialists the best small business of 2005.
Rose City Mortgage ranked 14th out of 50 of the best small Oregon companies to work for, according to an Oregon Business survey of 231 companies with 250 or fewer employees. Rose City was the only mortgage company on the list of top Oregon employers. The firm ranked fourth in the small-business categories of work environment and decision-making/trust. Confidential employee surveys and a benefits report completed by a company representative determined the annual rankings. Rose City staff learned their placement at a March 1 awards dinner.
Goldline Research selected Rose City Mortgage Specialists as one of 10 most dependable mortgage brokers in the Western states of Idaho, Washington, Utah, Colorado and Oregon. Rose City was the only Portland mortgage firm to receive the designation. Goldline Research is a research and publishing company that investigates the qualifications and performance of thousands of companies in the professional services industries and compiles the results into lists published in regional and national magazines.
