Mike Wilson is a solutions oriented kind of guy. As one of the youngest supervisors at FedEx, he learned to listen to his employees. So when they complained about perceived favoritism, Mike implemented a fairer way of making assignments. It now benefits all Portland FedEx employees. Mike left a legacy at FedEx. He also designed a more effective way for employees to give feedback to supervisors and other changes that made life better for the graveyard workers.

But that wasn't the only thing his co-workers liked about him. Mike brought a bit of fun into the workplace. You would find him organizing a fantasy football league, planning a going away party or renting a gym for a game of pick-up basketball after work. Mike says, "I like to do things to help morale."

He was well on his way to becoming a manager at FedEx when he was recruited to apply at Rose City Mortgage. "I was so excited I couldn't sleep the whole week leading up to my interview with Renee," he says. "I couldn't be happier to work for a company like Rose City which has so much to respect about it. I am just blown away by the eco-friendly commitment that Renee has instilled at Rose City."

Mike grew up outside of Portland with his mom and is a lifelong Portland Trailblazer fan. The two of them get together on his days off to watch the games. That is, when he's not out at Texas Hold 'Em tournaments. He loves the outdoors and as soon as the weather is nice, he fires up the grill for big summer BBQs with his friends. Mike plays the bongos to relieve stress or hits balls at the driving range. He also loves a good game of ping-pong and he invites you to challenge him to a game sometime.

This is Mike's first job in the mortgage industry and he's sure his solution-orientated approach will make your home buying experience a winning one.
